Homeschool of Asia Pacific (HAP), a Philippine homeschool program provider, aims to spark the enthusiasm and the love for learning in students.

With its office based in the Philippines, HAP believes learning is a natural part of life so we allow our students to take their time in learning things that interest them as fully as they want. III. THE H.A.P. ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIP TARGET PROGRAM (New!)

• Open to HAP Students Ages 12 to 14; No Sports Experience Required; Launching this schoolyear of 2012-2013!
• An HAP program that increases the chance of receiving college scholarships from Philippine universities thru excellence in the sport of fencing. Universities participating in the UAAP offer scholarships to senior highschool students who excel in the sport of fencing. Let this HAP program bring out the champion in your child so that universities may notice your child’s excellent performance in the sport of fencing. Training must be atleast 24 months.

• This schoolyear 2012-2013, HAP homeschooler, Matthew Ignacio (photo at the left) has successfully received full scholarship from Ateneo de Manila, UP and De La Salle University due to his top ranking in national and international fencing competitions. Matthew was under HAP’s Deped homeschool program for 2 years . The homeschool program gave him the freedom and the time to pursue his passion in fencing without sacrificing his academics. According to Matthew, the HAP homeschool program gave him the time to study and train in his own time. It also taught him self-discipline in studying and managing his time. This schoolyear, Matthew will study in Ateneo de Manila with full scholarship as a varsity player of the Ateneo Fencing League.

IV. EXTRA-CURRICULAR RECREATIONAL FENCING

• Open to Ages 7 and up. Open to HAP students, non-HAP homeschoolers and traditional schoolers; No Sports Experience Required
• Saturday Fencing Lessons for Kids, Teens and Adults in Carmona, Cavite (15mins. from Alabang), Makati and Quezon City.

• Fencing will develop self discipline, smart-thinking, problem-solving, self-confidence, teamwork, respect for others, independence and fair play. Also, it is where your child will be physically fit while enjoying the sport.

  ABOUT HAP

  HAP was established by Mrs. Bev Alarcon to share her stress-free homeschool program to other parents. She and her children have undergone 4 different homeschool programs based in the Philippines. Because of the required fixed curriculum, grading deadlines & required tests to pass, she and her children experienced stress from these local homeschool programs. She believed that learning should be enjoyable and relaxed. She then decided to create and design a homeschool program that is stress-free and enjoyable by her kids at the same time legal. When she saw that the program was effective and enjoyed by her kids, she then wanted to share her own program to parents who also want to give their children a more relaxed way of homeschooling or homestudying. With prayers and faith, she registered Homeschool of Asia Pacific Inc. in SEC. Then she launched www.homeschoolofasiapacific.com in April 2010 where students and parents enrolled.

  The HAP homeschool program was made ideal for homeschool students & parents by a homeschool parent.
